Upcoming Programs at the Bridgewater Library and Around the Community—Friends Booksale, Summer Teen Volunteer Applications due Saturday

Bridgewater Library's 2017 Summer Teen Volunteer Program

imageBridgewater Library is looking for volunteers this summer! Volunteers will shelve books, assist during programs, and sign up children and teens for our summer reading club. Summer volunteer opportunities are for teens entering 7th to 12th grade in the 2017-2018 school year. Two references are required for all new teen volunteers. Please use paper reference forms instead of electronic reference forms due to the large size of our program.
Applications for Bridgewater Library's 2017 Summer Teen Volunteer Program are now available at our Youth Services Reference Desk, and will be due by 5 PM on Saturday, April 29. No exceptions for late applications. You can download our application by clicking here.

And it's time to Countdown to the Eclipse!

There's a total solar eclipse crossing the United States on Monday, August 21, 2017.  The Path of Totality will run from Oregon to South Carolina.  New Jersey will see approximately 75% of the Sun covered by the Moon.  Each of our public astronomy shows introduces you to what a solar eclipse is and how to watch it.  Solar Viewing Glasses are also available in the Planetarium Gift Shop for $2.00 each.  Observe the Sun safely!
